love their pate banhmi and vermicelli salads, a solid work day lunch option nice interior decor too pho is aight, I suspect usage of prepackaged flavoring rather than actual bone broth but I can be wrong lol there's not a lot of depth but hey it still tastes good

I really enjoyed the food here. I got a shrimp spring roll and bbq pork Bahn Mi. Flavors were on point. Would come back for those two items. Both weren’t fully cut through so was really hard to pick up half a spring roll or bahn mi at first. Prices are alright. $3.50 for a single can of soda was a bit munch but water had floating particles so I had to get soda.

We ended up at this restaurant by chance after arriving in Dohatsuten for lunch—our original choice had just closed right before we got there due to their unusual hours. We ordered what the waitress recommended since I didn’t want fried rice, just plain rice. Everything turned out to be very delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was flavorful—not spicy, just the right amount of sweetness. The nudges was rich and satisfying, with a large prawn and a generous piece of calamari. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend. Atmosphere fabulous.

I have come here many times and I believe it is a great restaurant. The bahn mi sandwiches have very balanced and complex flavors working with the amazing textures to create a harmony of flavors in your mouth. The pho is all very comforting, I recommend ordering any pho with the fresh flat noodles as they are many times better than the original. I wouldn’t recommend the Wagyu pho, as it turns rather oily from the Wagyu fat. Great restaurant. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

Great place for bbq chicken. We had the bbq chicken with rice and vermicelli as well as the bbq bahn mi sandwich. The chicken was cooked perfectly and really tasty. Also ordered the crab fried rice which was good but not exceptional like the chicken. Portions were on the bigger side.

This seems to be a newly opened Vietnamese pho restaurant, and it left a great first impression. We ordered their specialty—Wagyu Pho, something you rarely find elsewhere. The pho was served in a hot clay bowl, which kept the broth warm throughout the meal. The wagyu beef and noodles were served separately, allowing you to cook the beef to your desired doneness as you eat. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, while the broth was light and clean, not greasy at all, and easy to enjoy. I also tried the vermicelli noodle salad, which was excellent. The grilled meat was juicy and well-seasoned, not overly salty, and sliced to the perfect thickness. The shrimp was fresh, and everything came together for a refreshing and satisfying dish. The fried spring rolls were standard—similar to what you'd find at most other Vietnamese spots. The interior decor was modern and pleasant, making for a comfortable dining experience. Overall, I think this might become my new go-to pho spot, especially for that delicious Wagyu Pho that’s absolutely worth coming back for.

I was pleasantly surprised by LeQuy. I had a craving for pho, but I’m often underwhelmed by the options in my own town. As a side note, I am half Vietnamese, so I have a good understanding of authentic Vietnamese food. Although I live about 20-30 minutes away, I will definitely return to LeQuy the next time I want Vietnamese cuisine. It was well worth the drive. The ambiance is casual, but slightly nicer than the typical, casual Vietnamese restaurant. No frills service. This is a family-owned and operated restaurant. **Combination Pho** This was surprisingly flavorful! I usually need to add fish sauce and hoisin sauce to enhance the flavor of pho at other restaurants, but at LeQuy, I didn’t need to add anything to my broth—just the usual fresh garnishes. At first, the price seemed a bit steep for a bowl of pho, but it is located in Palo Alto. The large serving was quite generous, so that sort of justifies the pricing as well. There were plenty of perfectly cooked noodles in a large bowl, and the broth was actually quite flavorful and delicious! I especially appreciated the big chunk of tendon included. The slices of meat were tender. **Crab and Shrimp Egg Rolls** These were a big surprise—You get 3 large egg rolls and they are packed with the authentic flavor of chả giò and tasted very fresh. Traditionally, chả giò is made with pork and shrimp, so it was nice to see this pescatarian option. **Clay Pot Dish** This was another surprise! My husband had a hard time deciding what to order, and the waiter suggested the clay pot dish. I was super skeptical. You can choose which proteins you want, and we decided on pork and shrimp. I’ll definitely be craving this! Once again, the portion size was generous and served in a traditional clay pot. I really dislike when restaurants skimp on protein and overload on carbs, but NOT LeQuy. The rice had a wonderful balance of shiitake mushrooms, caramelized ginger, Chinese sausage, perfectly cooked shrimp, and slices of pork. It was loaded with umami flavor, ginger, black pepper, and possibly hints of lemongrass. I had read other reviews mentioning that the banh mi was really good. We asked for it, but due to the Lunar New Year, they were closing early and had already run out for the day. I am already looking forward to my next meal at LeQuy!
